39′ Center Console 4HP Bow thruster installation

Joystick was installed just below the throttles
Wireless Controls attached to hardtop
Carpeting removed and masking applied to work area
Unfortunately we found the cabin step had rot from a previous repair
So out it came – changed our plan a little but made for a nicer install
The bow thruster will now hide under the new step we will make
Saddle installed and compartment painted with epoxy finish coat. Step was built from Starboard
Thruster motor installed – notice the motor support bracket- this is a fast boat meant to handle rough water running so the thruster needs additional bracing.

Heavily rounded edges for maximum efficiency
Tube installation is barely noticable – very little drag
Automatic Battery Switch and Northstar slim line battery – just 4.5″ wide and incredible power!
The new step – Many thanks to Horgan Woodworking of Hyannis for their help in getting the tread pattern cut.
This step will never rot again and is extremely strong.
All complete and carpeting re-installed and vacuumed up – better than we found it.

Dear Bill,

Thanks for the invoice.  Our desire is to take all the spares.  By the way the bow thruster has already proved extremely useful and may have saved a collision.
